Sunday Sermon: August 17, “On Creation”

Overpass Rally

50501 is a nationwide anti-fascism movement. Here is an example of local folks hanging their banners on high. If you live near an overpass or parking garage, get some friends and make some banners. Find a place to hang them and let’s fight fascism!
Sierra Club presentation

On Sunday August 10, Sierra Club member George Placher and Roger Peak spoke to UU congregation about the endangered Chicot aquifer, which supplies water to 15 parishes including Lafayette.
Potluck

Roger Peak (far left) of the Sierra Club also joined us for a delicious meal.
