HAPPENINGS
Matthew Isaak Memorial

We note with sadness the passing of Matthew Isaak, who has been a shining light in the struggle for peace and justice. Details, and a description of his memorial service, can be found here.
Good Trouble / No Kings Rally

On August 2nd, with Matthew in our hearts, we turned out to protest the ongoing destruction of our democracy. Anne, Aimee, and Mary Pritchard stepped up to lead this event.
We will carry on this fight — please consider joining us for the next one. Watch this space.
Upcoming Board Elections & Such

Now is the time to get ready for next congregation elections. Who plans on being on the board next year? Who in the congregation might serve next year? How do we start cultivating our newest members for board leadership?
Among us there are many gifts — how can you use your talents to advance our mission and grow the congregation?
Lunch Bunch

Two new members joined us for lunch at Athena’s after service on the 3rd to continue the fellowship and good conversation. Welcome, Steve and Sandra!
I have an interest in doing the newsletter. Would Andre show me the ropes? I have familiarity with using Windows and a handful of social media sites.
